The first wave

Ever have one of those days when you feel like you work on something for days and nobody cares about it? Well, I think most artists have had certain pieces they've done that are pushed aside for that cute little doodle of a cat you did three years ago. To cut to the chase, what an artist's sees and what the public wants are two different things.

So here is my post popular non-stamp image over on DeviantArt:

Looks nice right? Well, it's a bit on the old side for me and I've never been overly excited for it.  These abstract designs are are too easy for me, so I don't pay much attention those who care for them.

So, what kinds of drawings I feel strongly for? It's for my characters and their personalites, like this guy, Wire.

Well, I guess I come out and say I enjoy doodling robots right here and now. Besides, this work was never seen by most folks, due mostly to it not involving the latest cultural zietgiest or otherwise. Wire was overlooked becuase he doesn't stand out to the average citizen of the tubes. That abstract dragon though sure is different!

Well, this is the first rambling beast of a blog post, so stay tuned!
