Good heavens

I haven't posted any random nonsense in a week, so I figure it's high time to hit the tubes with a deluge of random fractal images.
These are all generated in Apophysis, which a decent program for these sorts of things.

Black Blood

Over lands of empty dreams
Stands the brightness of a new light
Her eyes open to the terror beyond,
Ready to take on the pain

Black blood rules the world
Strange souls run amok
Their sharp teeth tearing all
She will destroy all this evil

With one swing of her blade
Demons fall screaming
Down, down they go
No hope for a sadist's dream

Her power is overwhelming
 The Light is blinding
So luminous, some are wary
Becuase they fear she may overtake all

The war is over, time for rest
She retreats to lands unknown
Leaving the world to heal
She may return if black blood
runs again.

The 5th entry post

A bad drawing:

This, my friends, is a picture made of fail. The proportions are all screwed up, the lines are awkward, and the coloring is off at best. The worst part is that it's one of mine.

This woman standing before you isn't that old of a drawing either, perhaps a month or two ago I was sketching out the outline of this existential trainwreck. One would feel that I'm being a tad harsh on myself, but the truth is my people skills are terrible.

What's this, another version of the same woman? This one seems to be a little better, the legs are more in proportion with the torso, and the coloring has a little shading to it. The arms are strange looking though, or maybe it's just the hair being spiky enough to kill a vampire several times over. An improvement in a sense, but still not something to write home about. I guess one could say some effort was put into this round.
Round Three, now in a sporty tanktop and cowboy jeans. A bit like the second one only the left hand looking rather strange. At least the shading is still okay, for the queen of the approaching okay artists. For the curious, this woman is the main character in a Doctor Who fanfic that has never quite gotten off the ground. Funny, considering most people depend on the words on the page to describe a character.

Anyway, this was a short showcase of some badly-done people to show that at least I try at this entire art shtick.

Goodnight and good luck, Turbo.

The Third Day

Why hello again, you citizens of the tubes, it's me Turbo.

I havn't updated in a few days, blame the 4th of July and annoying cousins. There wasn't enough room to even think in my little corner of Nowhere.

Well, enough about my real life, onto the random picture of the day.

This my friends is an octopus with a misshaped head. I suppose you could say it went onto the wrong side of the brain coral and fought a gang of sperm whales. It had to be a fairly tough fight for all this ink to be spilled into an awkward form of an octopus on paper. Well, at least this will keep your eyes preoccupied for a moment.

The second Decree

Random fractal is random.
Generated in Apophysis

The first wave

Ever have one of those days when you feel like you work on something for days and nobody cares about it? Well, I think most artists have had certain pieces they've done that are pushed aside for that cute little doodle of a cat you did three years ago. To cut to the chase, what an artist's sees and what the public wants are two different things.

So here is my post popular non-stamp image over on DeviantArt:

Looks nice right? Well, it's a bit on the old side for me and I've never been overly excited for it.  These abstract designs are are too easy for me, so I don't pay much attention those who care for them.

So, what kinds of drawings I feel strongly for? It's for my characters and their personalites, like this guy, Wire.

Well, I guess I come out and say I enjoy doodling robots right here and now. Besides, this work was never seen by most folks, due mostly to it not involving the latest cultural zietgiest or otherwise. Wire was overlooked becuase he doesn't stand out to the average citizen of the tubes. That abstract dragon though sure is different!

Well, this is the first rambling beast of a blog post, so stay tuned!
